Terms of service

Terms of Service — Effective 18 July 2026. These Terms govern sales on alephheritage.com between Zakia Koubeissi, sole trader (micro-enterprise) ("Aleph", "we") and any consumer ("you"). The French version prevails.

  1. Products. Jewelry inspired by the Phoenician alphabet. Unless stated otherwise: pendant and chain in solid 925 sterling silver, in a silver finish or a 14K (585‰) gold finish (gilded); stones of green cubic zirconia (lab-created); 40 cm chain + 10 cm extension. Essential characteristics appear on each product page; minor visual variations are not a conformity defect.
  2. Prices. In euros, all taxes and shipping included for zones served. Constant prices — no sales, no markdowns. The applicable price is the one displayed on the day of order.
  3. Order & payment. Confirmed after secure payment (Shopify Payments). Confirmation e-mail on a durable medium. Abnormal or bad-faith orders may be refused.
  4. Delivery. Metropolitan France and the EU. Dispatch within 1–2 business days from Strasbourg; tracked delivery in 2–4 (France) / 5–8 business days (EU). Risk passes on delivery. If more than 7 days late, you may set a reasonable additional deadline then cancel for a full refund (art. L.216-6 et seq., French Consumer Code).
  5. Right of withdrawal (14 days). You have 14 days from receipt to withdraw without reasons by notifying alephheritage@gmail.com (model form in the French version). Return unworn, original condition, with box and card, within 14 days of notification. Full refund including original shipping within 14 days of receipt of the goods or proof of return. Return costs: France — prepaid label provided; other EU — at your expense. Our pieces are not personalized, so the personalization exception does not apply. Our commercial policy extends this to 30 days (see Refund Policy).
  6. Legal guarantees. Independently of any commercial warranty, you benefit from the French legal guarantee of conformity (2 years from delivery: repair or replacement within 30 days, free; failing that, price reduction or full refund; 6-month extension after repair; renewed 2 years after imposed replacement) and the guarantee against hidden defects (Civil Code art. 1641–1649, 2 years from discovery: rescission or price reduction).   7. Aleph commercial warranty (2 years). Independently of, and without limiting, the legal guarantees, Aleph grants a free 24-month commercial warranty from delivery covering manufacturing defects: stone settings, clasp, solder joints and finish behaviour under normal use. The gold finish includes one complimentary re-gilding within the first 12 months; thereafter re-gilding is a paid atelier service. Excluded: normal wear beyond the above, impacts, scratches, loss, theft, damage from ignoring care instructions.   8. Mediation. Unresolved complaints (first write to alephheritage@gmail.com) may be referred free of charge to our consumer mediator: [MEDIATOR name + website], or via the EU ODR platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
  9. Personal data. See our Privacy Policy; GDPR rights via alephheritage@gmail.com; complaints to the CNIL (cnil.fr).
  10. Miscellaneous. French law applies. Title retained until full payment. Severability applies. The French version prevails.
